Law school wonder student Ian Peters chronicles his first night home for the summer in Piedmont, Washington. What starts with a pleasant drive up the Pacific Northwest Coast leads him into a night of self discovery, contemplative self-assessment, and ultimately the question: what kind of man does he want to be? Along the way, he reconnects with friends, family, and an old flame who changes his world forever.
What started as a typical night of partying quickly becomes BoyzNite.

Heat Level:♥♥♥
Genre: Short Story
Overall Rating: 5/6 Glass Slippers
Ian returned home for a bachelor party but things don’t turn out the way he planned. Most of these parties have strippers and all kinds of debauchery but something is off to Ian. This is confirmed when he realizes just who one of the strippers is.
Ian soon realizes that there is a whole lot more going on then just what meets the eye. Sometimes you need to look a little deeper at your friends and the people around you.
I liked this story because it wasn’t something I was used to seeing. First of all, I don’t read a lot of short stories so that was already a new experience for me. But I also don’t read a lot of stories from a man’s point of view unless its a dual romance novel. I liked how the story started out and I liked how Ian looked at the world. Plus, this was a look into a bachelor party! I don’t have much experience with that…well except for the Hangover.
Obviously there are strippers and some graphic moments in the story but nothing that I felt was too intense or cringe worthy. I liked this story and I think it’s a quick read but it definitely leaves you thinking.
