The Braille Club Unbound

Remember the steamy Braille Club review from last week? Did you read it? If not, my review of The Braille Club Unbound will contain spoilers! If that’s okay with you, then let’s dive right in to the second book in the series by J.A. Kerr.

Heat Level:♥♥♥♥♥♥

Overall Rating: 6/6 Glass Slippers

Genre: Romantic Erotica

So, we left our main lovers, Bendict and Siena, at the tail end of some major baby mama drama. Like “Nick beat the shit out of Siena and almost made her lose the twins” kinda drama that you certainly don’t see on the Maury show.

I’m not going to tell you what’s up with the DNA testing that was ordered during Nick’s trial, but let’s just say the whole thing ended in a series of curve balls that I certainly didn’t see coming! In fact, the whole book was a curve ball and, maybe it’s because I’m now a little more invested in Siena and Benedict’s lives, but I was basically on the edge of my seat reading it. I’m talking yelling at the horror movie “don’t go into the basement” kind of feeling. Mostly because Nick is the king of being a sneaky asshole.

There are some new, and old, faces that are very important in this novel. We’ve got Guy, who works for Siena and Benedict, and tells his story of his torrid affair through steamy flashbacks. That affair partner? Anna, the domineering lover, trapped in a violent marriage. But there’s also Niven, a mega-successful model who really only wants some love and happiness in her sterile life. While Siena and Benedict’s drama is off the charts entertaining, these new stories add a nice twist.

I was excited for the chance to delve further into the Braille Club, and was not disappointed. Once again, the steamy encounters, the exclusive club, and the complex feelings given to each of the characters showed Kerr’s talent for spilling a tale that was both enthralling and totally hot. What a roller coaster! I almost hoped for a happy ending but, as the newest installment of the series comes out soon, I know there’s more Nick lurking around the corner.
