Sophie Jordan is a boss lady in a man’s world, as she is the co-owner of The Hot Zone, a sports management agency. She’s married to her work, keeping things organized and on track. But when her co-owner sister goes on maternity leave and agent Spenser Atkins goes missing, she’s forced to break a few of her own rules to keep the company going. And one of those rules she’s about to break is the one against dating the athletes.
Riley Nash is one hot quarterback with a history he just can’t escape. When he needs to find the missing Spenser, he hooks up with Sophie and they try to work together to solve the case. But their opposite personalities and obvious attraction complicates things for both of them. When a bad boy and a good good are forced together, things don’t always go according to plan.
This book is fun, flirty, and just what you like to see with a contemporary romance. The book was a little hard to get into at first, but by the time you get into the storyline and meet the cast, you’re really in for an awesome ride. There’s hot sex, forbidden feelings, family secrets, and a few twists and turns to keep you on your toes. It’s a great book to get into this football season, especially if you’re like me and don’t watch the games
