Always You

Belle Brooks just gave me a massive case of “the feels” with her book, Always You, a story of true love, loss, and the real meaning of forever.

Maybelline and Willard Connors grew up together, becoming fast friends who later fell in love. They took the next natural step in their relationship; marriage. Things are looking good, they have a strong bond and look forward to a long future together. But when tragedy strikes, leaving May with the most difficult decision of her life, a bucket list is born and a marriage is tested. May’s family and friends rally around her as she embarks on, possibly, the last journey of her life.

I know this is shorter than my usual reviews, but I don’t want to give anything about this book away before you get a chance to read it. I went in expecting a lighthearted romance and got so much more. The plot is deep, the characters developed, and each twist and turn more emotional than the last. It felt like I was reading a Nicholas Sparks novel! Seriously, if you’re a fan of his work, I promise you’ll adore Always You. On a side note, the book was also very smooth, beautifully sad, and read with no errors or cumbersome fluffing. All you get is a touching story that makes you think about what you might do with your life, if you were put on a timeline.
