The Kiss That Saved Me

Remember my review of The Kiss That Killed Me? Well, I’m back with the second book in The Tidal Kiss Trilogy by Kristy Nicolle, The Kiss That Saved Me. In case you haven’t had a chance to pick up the first book, I’ll try to avoid spoilers as well as I’m able, so the first won’t be ruined when you do read it!

Heat Level: ♥♥

Overall Rating: 6/6 Glass Slippers

Genre: New Adult Paranormal Romance

Things have been difficult for our girl Callie. Sure, she’s got a second chance at life with the mega hot Orion as her main man, but not even some rock hard abs and a piercing blue eyes can save her when she delves deeper into her new self, which puts the future of an entire race into her hands. Callie is growing into her own and maturing into a true leader. Still, it’s more than most teenagers can handle, and while being the rulers of the mermaids sounds like a dream, she and Orion have a bit more on their plates than they were prepared for. It’s possible that a new, dark, force is coming into play…one that Callie might give in to.

Once again, I was really pleased with the book as a whole. Nicolle has really given us a second book to sincerely immerse ourselves in. Well, almost literally, as the underwater wold she paints seems positively perfect, as long as we ignore the whole “that group of oceanic baddies is trying to kill the good guys” thing. Wouldn’t you for a glorious tail and unending life? Remember, always be yourself, unless you can be a mermaid. Then totally be a mermaid. So, if true love, a thrilling plot, and a captivating wold is your thing, grab a copy of The Kiss that Saved Me now.
