Here’s another shortie for your reading pleasure! Falling for Kate is an Angels Lake Novella that can be read as a standalone.
Overall Rating: 6/6 Glass Slippers
Genre: Romantic Suspense Novella
The book begins with Kate Aarons declaring she needs an adult. Hello, spirit animal of all twenty-somethings. However, Kate is no floundering Freshman, she’s a young New Yorker with the glorious sass to match. Well, at least she was a New Yorker until heartbreak and the harsh city wore her down, causing her to go home to Angel’s Lake. But a cancelled flight throws her into the path of an old family friend, the gorgeous Elliott Peter, a dad of twin girls and cop back in their shared hometown. When Kate needs a home and Elliott needs someone to share the burden of being a single dad, they might come up with the perfect arrangement. Sure, sounds great, but nothing is ever as simple as it seems.
No complaints here, you guys. It was a fun, fast read with just the right amount of tension to make it worth your time. And, writing gods be praised, it was clear of any grammar and punctuation problems. It’s been a bit since I could say that, in all honestly, and I needed that! Overall, I think it’s great for all fans of romance. So hop over to Amazon now and pick up a copy of Falling for Kate.
