Our favorite novella author, Penelope Marshall, is back with another bad boy military romance that will tantalize and keep you on the edge of your seat. So, here’s my review of Betrayed, a sizzling tale of one man fighting to get his woman back.
Overall Rating: 6/6 Glass Slippers
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Chance is a good guy who was totally burned when his ex Nicole banged his co-worker, and SEAL brother, Sebastian. He has to keep Sebastian in his life, but kicks Nicole to the curb. He gives up on love until he’s taken captive in a foreign land and meets the beautiful Sierra, who vows to help him escape. I don’t want to give too much away, but Chance and Sierra are later happy together, or so he thinks. She soon goes missing and he refuses to believe she ran off on him, sending him on the mission of his life.
Written in multiple POVs, you get a bunch of different emotions and motivations for each player in the game. You get even more with this new, extended, novella that gives you a peak into Chance and Sierra’s relationship that you didn’t get before. So, if you love romance, hot scenes, and some tough military action, pick up a copy of Betrayed now!
